the weekend.

We have had one of the most relaxing, enjoyable weekends that we've had in a long time!

It all started on Friday at work when I got an e-mail that Hayleigh's crib was in and we headed into town to pick it up. While in, I picked up a bunch of supplies to make some things I've had pinned on Pinterest for a while. I've had some pent up creative energy for a while.

While Brian put the crib together, I painted away and watched movies with Jennie. Saturday, we slept in until 10 (!!) and had a lazy day most of the day. In the afternoon we took a walk at camp and it was nice to enjoy fall colors and to finally have a day without rain.

Sunday, I baked these & they were amazing! I seriously recommend making a batch today. I had every ingredient in the kitchen and they turned out perfectly. Everything from the King Arthur blog does.
